Women like you, each verified by a person on our team. When you want company, you can ask a verified woman nearby to walk with you. When someone near you asks, you choose whether to go.
No. SafeReach is for women only, and every buddy is verified by a person on our team.
Each buddy submits a government ID (PAN, voter ID, driving licence or passport, never Aadhaar) and a selfie holding a pose we ask for. A person on our team checks that they match, usually within about 48 hours. The photos are kept in a private store in India, seen only by our reviewers, and deleted 30 days after the decision.
To walk with others as a buddy, yes, once. It is how everyone you meet has been checked too.

We have not announced a date. Sign-ups are open to women across India, and the app will open city by city, starting where the most women have signed up. Add your city when you join so we know where to go first.
Yes. Safety features are free and will stay free. Joining the waitlist costs nothing either.
We use it only to tell you about early access and the launch. No spam. We never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Read the privacy notice.
