These terms cover your use of this website, the SafeReach waitlist and buddy verification on this website. The SafeReach app will have its own terms, which you will accept before using it.

Not an emergency service

SafeReach is not a replacement for emergency services. If you are in danger in India, call 112.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free. It does not guarantee access to SafeReach, a launch date, or any particular feature. Features described on this site may change before launch.

Buddy verification

You can verify as a buddy on this website before the app launches. It is free and it is your choice. You must be a woman aged 18 or over.

To verify, you give us your mobile number, your full name as it appears on your ID, your date of birth, photos of one government photo ID (PAN card, voter ID, driving licence or passport; we do not accept Aadhaar) and a selfie holding a pose we show you. Everything you submit must be true and must be your own.

A person on our team reviews each submission. Approval is not guaranteed: we may ask you to try again with clearer photos, or decline. If you submit a false, altered or borrowed document, or someone else's photo, we will reject the submission and may remove your account and refuse later ones.

Being verified means our team checked your ID and selfie. It does not guarantee access to SafeReach or a launch date. How long we keep what you submit, and how to withdraw or have it deleted, is set out in the privacy notice.

Using this site

Please do not misuse the site: do not try to break it, overload it, sign up other people without their permission, or copy its content for commercial use. The SafeReach name, logo, illustrations and text belong to SafeReach.

No warranty

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
